I believe in miracles... I do believe in miracles, do you?
Welcome to my website, a space dedicated to Christian inspiration. I invite you to engage with my posts, which I hope you find informative, uplifting, and educational. I cherish all comments; however, I encourage respectful dialogue, even in disagreement. There’s nothing like a stimulating exchange of ideas within our reading community and writing community.
My favorite genre to write in is historical fiction, particularly biblical historical fiction. I also enjoy exploring other genres like fables, folklore, and fantasy, as they enrich my storytelling.
I strive to create memorable characters that uplift readers, especially those grappling with long, arduous circumstances. I want them to feel that they are not alone.
I have always appreciated tales filled with heroes, heroines, and even villains that inspire resilience during tough situations. Some of my all-time favourites include Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Gone With The Wind, The Call of The Wild, Black Beauty, and Little Women. And perhaps my favourite of all is A Christmas Carol.
Since 2019, I have devoted my heart to a novel that traverses two time periods: the present day and ancient Judea during Yeshua's (the Aramaic name for Jesus) ministry and the Roman occupation. The posts you see regarding Rome and Judea stem from in-depth research related to this project.
I will also present material pertinent to the witchcraft hysteria in Salem, Massachusetts. I grew up in the area, now known as Danvers. This horrific tragedy has always fascinated me.
I hold an MPA and have experience writing a community column for a local newspaper, which fuels my imagination and dedication to educational storytelling.
I am also an advocate for suicide prevention, particularly for our service members. Tragically, we lose around 14-22 veterans daily to suicide. This issue is very close to my heart, especially after losing a friend's Navy son to this tragedy.
I have a deep compassion for the recovery of drug addicts and alcoholics, along with providing support for their families and friends who love them.
During the summer months, I immerse myself in barbecues, gardening, wildlife, and the beauty of the woodlands. My love for various music genres adds to my creativity, and trips to the mighty Atlantic spark my imagination.
